All the equipment was removed to expose the damaged rubber floor that was delaminating at the seams and the rubber cove base pulling away and seperating from the wall.
The sheets of rubber flooring that had pulled away at the so called "welded seams", was removed.
Bacteria build under the floor and maggots were actually found. Workers would be so sickened by the mess under the floor, some regurgitated in the parking lot. This picture was after washing the floor to remove the debris that had accumulated under the rubber sheets.
After removal and shot blasting the area was primed and cove base was installed.
