FLOOR GATOR

Product Description:

FLOOR GATOR®

" let the gator get 'em "

FLOOR GATOR IS A PREMIUM OIL ABSORBENT THAT  IMMEDIATELY ABSORBS OIL AND IS MADE FROM 100% RECYCLED AGRICULTURAL WASTE PRODUCTS

One, thirty pound bag of Floor Gator will replace 15-20 bags, or more, of the "kitty litter" (calcined clay) type, --- so called --- absorbent.

Floor Gator contains high concentrations of naturally occurring microbes that are indigenous in the cotton plant waste product and they consume (eat) hydrocarbons.

Floor Gator will immediately, upon contact, ABSORB AND ENCAPSULATE up to six times its own weight in hydrocarbons. Upon contact with oil, the microbes become hydrated and proliferate at an accelerated rate.

This ever growing, exponential colony will consume/dissolve any and all hydrocarbons they come in contact with. The oil is turned into a harmless gas and water. Once the oil or hydrocarbons are gone, the microbes feed on each other and eventually die out.

Floor Gator also encapsulates and suppresses the vapors emitted by the contaminant.

Floor Gator should be immediately swept up and strained.  Discard the clumps of oil. Reuse until fully saturated by recycling the unused Floor Gator with the BLUE FIVE GALLON BUCKET SCREEN or the PORTA-GATOR available at the IFS ONLINE STORE.

This method eliminates residue left over by other absorbents that are simply, a slip fall accidents just waiting to happen.

Floor Gator eliminates the exposure to clay dust that can cause silicosis, a lung disease, and it's also a suspected carcinogen. Not to mention the energy consumed to "bake" the clay that becomes that kitty litter type material.

Calcined clay (so called, "absorbents") are wasteful and harmful to the environment in several ways. Clay is mined, then baked in large rotary kiln's at over 2,000 degrees F. to produce the calcined clay "kitty litter".

Think about the carbon footprint associated with this calcined clay product. The energy and pollution from the mining process and the vast amounts of fossil fuel burned to bake, or rotary kiln dry this material takes a huge toll on the environment.

Then, vast amounts of storage space is required to warehouse it. Now think about the fuel to ship this heavy, bulky, inefficient material to distribution warehouses.

Then it's stored again and shipped to retailer or industrial suppliers then, on to your place of business or residence.

After the Calcined clay is used and has oil "on it", think about the large volume of space it takes up in our landfills, which most landfills refuse oil coated calcined clay, for good reason.

Now think of the cotton farmers that in the past, had to pay to dispose of this waste from the cotton farming & ginning operation.

Gator Products provide an additional revenue stream for our American Cotton Farmers. Instead of having to pay to dispose of it, they have an additional revenue stream to help them survive in these tough economic times.

Environmentally and humanely, it's a win-win for all of us.
