WedgCor Steel Buildings is recognized by the ICBO Evaluation Service, Inc. to fabricate pre-Engineered Steel Building Components. The ICBO Evaluation Report Number FA-293 is assigned to WedgCor's Jamestown, North Dakota Plant. Fabrication is under a recognized quality control program with periodic inspections by professional Services Industries, Inc., Pittsburgh Testing Laboratory Division. WedgCor is also recognized by Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc. with Compliance Report #9090. (This report number may change each time renewal is done every two years.) City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety has approved the WedgCor, Jamestown North Dakota Plant as a Type 1 fabricator under the provisions of Los Angeles municipal code. Canadian Welding Bureau has certified WedgCor Steel Building Systems as an approved fabricator under the CSA Standard W47 Division 1. This certification is based on approved Welding Engineering Standards and periodic inspections at the Jamestown, North Dakota Plant by a Canadian Welding Bureau Representative. Included in this package: the structural framing members, fasteners and bolts, sealants, flashing and other parts required for a complete building system. Please note that items imbedded in concrete are not part of the building system supplied by WedgCor. Roof Slopes: 1/4:12 up to 12:12 in any increments are standard Bay Sizes: 10' thru 30' in any increment with standard purlins, and in any combination are available on request. Long span bays also available. Structural Steel Design: All structural steel of hot-rolled shapes and built-up welded sections are designed in accordance with AISC's eight edition "Specification for Design, Fabrication, and Erection of Structural Steel Buildings." Cold-formed steel members are designed in accordance with AISI's latest edition of "Specifications for the Design of Cold-Formed Steel Structural Members". All framing members are shop fabricated for bolted field assembly. Bolts meet the requirements of the following ASTM Standards latest issue: A-325 for quenched and tempered steel bolts A-307 for steel machine bolts and nuts Design Loads: Live Loads - 12 psf thru 250 p sf in any increment and any building code requirement are standard Wind Loads - 70 mph up to 200 mph or any building code requirement are standard Auxiliary Load - Cranes, messanines, or other concentrated loadings Secondary Framing: Purlins and girts are roll-formed "C" or "Z" sections having a stiffened flange Diagonal bracing isused to transfer the longitudinal wind load to concrete slab. Primary and secondary framing members are coated with red primer paint. Roof Panels: Standard 26 ga. Commercial Hi Rib with mastic sealant. Alternate: Standing Seem Roof system with UL90 or Architectural batten Seam Panels. Various other gauges available upon request. Wall Coverings: Standard 26 ga. Commercial Hi Rib Alternative: Reverse roll Hi Rib, Architectural Shadowline, Concealed Fastener System, Insulated Panel (factory or field assembled), Various other gauges available upon request Basic Materials: Primary framing members are welded up from materials having a yield point of 50,000 psi and 55,000 psi. Roof and wall panels are roll-formed from materials having a yield point of 80,000 psi. Primary Framing: Interior frames are submerged - arc welded up sections made from materials with a yield point of 50,000 psi and 55,000 psi. End frames are submerged - arc welded up sections made from materials having a yield point of 50,000 psi and 55,000 psi or roll-formed "C" sections made from materials also with a 50,000 and 55,000 psi yield point. Optional: Framed overhead door openings and Personnel Doors Translucent Panels Full selection of sheeting colors, galvanized and galvalume are standard. Trim is galvanized or Polar White.
